The new Miller TurboLite™ Personal Fall Limiter was awarded the 2008 Plant Engineering Product of the Year Gold award. New product innovations are voted on each year by the readers of Plant Engineering magazine. This is the most coveted new product award in manufacturing, and a testimony to a product's long-term success.

Product of the Year finalists were published in the November issue of Plant Engineering, and reviewed by a panel of industry experts. A special ballot allowed readers to vote for their top five product choices.

While some products submitted into the competition reflect current sophisticated, high-tech innovation, others represent pure simplicity of design. All of the award-winning products were recognized for having an innovative impact on plant engineering operations, production or safety.

Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners are announced in each of 16 categories, plus a Grand Award winner.
