This training course was developed to provide employees access to important health and safety information with regard to hazardous substances in the workplace and how to protect themselves from such hazards. The program is designed around the federal Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200) better known as the "Employee Right to Know."

- Identifying all hazardous materials within your facility
- Labeling of all containers and their requirements
- Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs) in the work environment
- Training employees to recognize and interpret:
- Labels
- Warnings
- Color coding
- Signs
- Review of risks to health and physical harm
- Development of a written program
