This training course is designed for all personnel who work at heights especially on open structures. The training provides individuals with the required skills to safely set up rescue equipment and rescue a casualty stranded at height having first taken into consideration the likely injuries sustained.
This course involves both multi-media presentations and hands-on workshops. This training course requires participants to actively climb and perform rescues with our instructors' guidance. Participants should dress accordingly.
Prerequisite Training: Competent Person OR Fall Protection Rescue (Basic Rescue)

PROGRAM TOPICS

This is an extension of Fall Protection Rescue (Basic Rescue) training. We put the theory learned in Fall Protection Rescue into use.
- Set-up and inspection of rescue equipment
- Rescue ascent & descent with various rescue devices and techniques
- First responder techniques and responsibilities
- Hands-on practical exercises with skilled instructors as monitors

Workers who work at height on a regular basis, managers and/or foremen with employees working at height, safety managers and facility managers who hire contractors who need to work at height.
