 (1-hour Course)

This one-hour orientation course is customized to meet the end user’s specific operational requirements and work environment. The course is conducted on-site at your job locations and is designed for individuals with limited exposure to fall hazards. The program provides an overview of fall hazards and basic skills related to proper use of fall protection equipment. Participants will gain insight to fall protection issues through equipment demonstrations and hands-on exercises. 

PROGRAM TOPICS

• Introduction to Fall Hazards
• Basic Principles of Fall Prevention & Protection
• Personal Fall Arrest Systems
  – Equipment inspection, use and care procedures
  – Proper equipment donning
  – Field use demonstrations

WHO SHOULD ATTEND 

Non-supervisory personnel with limited or no knowledge of fall hazards or protection procedures.

ORIENTATION II TRAINING

(2-hour course)

A two-hour orientation course designed for individuals with limited exposure to fall hazards. The program provides an introduction to hazard identification and basic skills related to proper use of fall protection equipment. Participants will gain insight to fall protection issues through presentations, equipment demonstrations and hands-on exercises.
