The Miller Instructional Team is comprised of professional instructors with experience on the principles, procedures and applications of fall protection, confined space entry and high access rescue.
Our instructors are trained in both industrial and construction applications of fall protection and confined space entry and rescue equipment. In addition to safety experience, our lead instructors are also trained in the disciplines of education and instructional design; and are authorized OSHA Construction Safety and Health Instructors. Instructional team members are well-versed in the development and presentation of safety training programs; Canadian and OSHA regulatory requirements and interpretations; methods for protecting workers from safety and health hazards; and the skills necessary to supervise and safely work in elevated environments.
In addition, our instructors guide clients in the proper selection of fall protection equipment and the skills required to achieve maximum performance at minimum risk. The Miller industrial and construction site training programs provide participants with the knowledge required to properly select, inspect and use the proper personal protective equipment for safe access to, and egress from, exposed work sites.
The Miller Instructional Team also includes the training professionals from the Specialized Access and Rescue Training School, Europe’s leading industrial access, rescue and special operations training organization. Although our rescue and special operations training exceeds the demands of emergency rescue teams, these programs provide hands-on experience ranging from telecommunications mast to cliff face rescue operations; and they prepare participants to implement the techniques required for rapid access and incident site management.
The focus of the Miller Instructional Team is to provide course participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve a safe work environment. In other words, NO SALES PITCH, just straight talk on the principles, procedures and field applications of fall protection and high access rescue.
